The Jerramungup Community Resource Centre has 3 overarching objectives for our business.  We provide access to services, information and training not readily available in rural areas.  We promote the CRC, CR Network, and our community through our events and workshops, community newsletter and tourism centre.  The Jerramungup Community Resource Centre is integral in fostering a sense of community as we produce the local newsletter, 'The Jerry Journal'.

Jerramungup is situated in the Fitzgerald Biosphere where the farmers and local community groups work together to protect the natural vegetation and landscapes.  Currently, the region supports sporting activities, mixed farming activities, agriculturally related contract businesses, and other community groups.  Tourism is currently an area of focus, not only for the Shire of Jerramungup and its town revitalisation project, but also for the Jerramungup Community Resource Centre and its addition of a tourism centre.

​Jerramungup is a small rural community in the Great Southern region.  It is approximately 180 km north of Albany, 300 km east of Esperance with these being the closest major centres.  Conveniently located at the gateway to the Fitzgerald National Park, the town has developed into the one stop shop before tourists and locals enter the National Park or head to the coastal town of Bremer Bay.

The Jerramungup Community Resource Centre is committed to collaborating with our community to ensure that the community and its members continue to move forward and prosper by offering a range of educational and training opportunities and providing access to current technology and ICT communication services. We endeavour to strengthen our community's knowledge of the Centre and its capacity in the region.
